According to ISO 281, reducing a ball bearing's equivalent dynamic load by half increases its calculated rating life eightfold. Balancing helps by reducing the load created by rotor imbalance.

Rotor imbalance typically creates a strong vibration component at running speed. Balanset-1A measures its amplitude and phase, then calculates the correction weight and angle.

No advanced vibration-analysis qualification is required. The software guides the user through each measurement and correction step. Basic mechanical knowledge, safe work practices and confidence using a Windows PC are needed for routine jobs.
