If the interaction ratio ≤ 1.0, the anchor is adequate. Values > 1.0 indicate overload.

The 5/3 power interaction per ACI 318 is less conservative than linear (1.0) but accounts for actual failure modes under combined loading.

Some codes require linear interaction (T/Ta + V/Va ≤ 1.2) which is more conservative.

Set V=0. The check becomes T/Ta ≤ 1.0.

From anchor manufacturer data or calculated per ACI 318 using concrete breakout/steel capacity.

Prying can increase actual bolt tension significantly. Account for it in the applied T value.
