Engineering company, not a reseller

We design, assemble, program, test, and use every Balanset device ourselves.

Vibromera builds portable equipment for dynamic balancing and vibration diagnostics. Every instrument in the Balanset series is our own design — from circuit boards and sensor integration to the balancing software and signal processing algorithms.

What makes us different from most equipment manufacturers: we don't just build these instruments — we use them daily. Our team performs field balancing on mulchers, combine harvesters, industrial fans, crushers, and centrifuges every week. When the engineer who stands next to a machine in a dusty field also designs the instrument, the priorities shift: usability, reliability, ruggedness, repairability — and of course, price.

The company operates from Porto, Portugal, with EU registration. We ship worldwide with full customs documentation and provide direct technical support — no call centers, no ticket queues. You talk to the engineer who built the device.

Engineering Heritage

1980s
Specialized engineering bureau origins
Our founding engineers began developing balancing and vibration measurement instruments at specialized state engineering bureaus — designing equipment for heavy industry, power generation, and manufacturing sectors. This institutional foundation shaped the core methodologies we still use today.
1990s — 2000s
Independent instrument development
Transition to independent R&D. Multiple generations of single-channel and dual-channel balancing instruments developed, tested, and deployed across industrial facilities. Continuous refinement based on real field conditions — not laboratory benchmarks.
2009 — 2016
PC-based platform & international expansion
Shift to USB-connected PC-based architecture. Integration of FFT spectrum analysis, archiving, reporting, and ISO 1940 tolerance calculation into the software platform. First international sales beyond the original market.
2017 — Present
Balanset series & global reach
Launch of the current-generation Balanset-1A and Balanset-4. Improved signal filtering algorithms, Windows 7–11 support, expanded vibration diagnostics. Operations consolidated in the European Union with worldwide distribution. Over 5,000 devices now in active use across 55+ countries.

Nikolai Shelkovenko
Co-Founder, CEO & Field Engineer
13+ years of hands-on field balancing. Thousands of rotors balanced personally — from 30000rpm cnc spindle to multi-ton industrial rotors. Manages operations, production, sales, and provides direct technical support.
Our team continues to grow with young engineers and developers joining the core group.

Why does Balanset-1A cost €1,975 when competitors charge €5,000–€15,000?

The balancing methodology is identical across all portable instruments — the influence coefficient method is physics, not a brand feature. The price difference is in the business model, not in balancing quality.

Established brands carry the cost of hundreds of employees, offices in dozens of countries, dealer networks, trade shows, and corporate sales through tenders. All of that is built into the price of their device.

We are an engineering team with direct sales and minimal overhead. We don't spend money on things that don't improve the instrument. So the instrument costs what it costs — not what the market thinks a "professional tool" should cost.

We don't hide what Balanset-1A is not. It doesn't have route-based data collection, IP65 ingress protection, or ATEX certification. If you need a full condition monitoring system — that's a different price category and a different set of tasks. Balanset-1A does one thing well: field dynamic balancing with documented results.
