Publicly verifiable ISO scope
O catálogo oficial da ISO catalogue record lists ISO 3266:2010, edition 2, as Published and identifies Amendment 1:2015. Its public abstract covers one-piece forged steel eyebolts grade 4 for general lifting, axial and inclined loading, and a service-temperature range from −20 °C to 200 °C. It excludes non-one-piece-forged eyebolts and grade 4 eyebolts manufactured before publication.
Static force model
For one exactly axial eyebolt, line force is T = F. For two identical symmetric legs at angle θ from vertical, vertical equilibrium gives 2T cos θ = F, so T = F / (2 cos θ). NASA’s official vector-components reference documents the cosine resolution of a force vector.
NEEDS_LICENSED_SOURCE: the former page attributed a 1.4 pair multiplier, a 45° permission boundary, MBL = 4 × WLL, marking requirements and nominal-size presets to ISO 3266. The open ISO record does not expose the clauses/tables needed to verify those exact normative values, including the effect of Amd 1:2015. They have therefore been removed, not reconstructed from memory.
A result at or below 100% means only that the ideal static line force does not exceed the WLL supplied by the user for that exact configuration. A competent lifting-equipment person must verify the controlled standard, amendment, product certificate, manufacturer instructions, installation and lift plan.
