Review notes
Can this worksheet certify ISO 2954 compliance?
No. It only checks whether an evidence-package record is complete enough to hand to a qualified reviewer. It performs no instrument test and contains no licensed numeric acceptance criteria.
Why were the former numeric pass/fail limits removed?
The audit record contains the official public standard card and abstract, not the full licensed clauses and test conditions. More importantly, four declared numbers cannot establish conformity of the complete measurement chain.
Can acceleration or displacement specifications use the same verdict?
No such equivalence is asserted. The official public ISO 2954 scope identifies direct RMS vibration-velocity indication or recording. Other quantities and applications require their own verified procedures.
Does an ISO 2954 instrument report prove a machine is acceptable?
No. Instrument performance evidence and machine-vibration evaluation are separate. Use the applicable machine standard, quantity, point, operating state and measurement procedure.
