The removed page assigned one continuous/short-term value to broad labels such as “standard bearing”, NBR, FKM, PAO, lithium grease and insulation class, then declared an arbitrary green zone below 80%. Those values are not transferable across exact products and measurement definitions.
Сайтът SKF motor/generator bearing guide states that operating temperature can be limited by cage, grease and sealing-lip material and that selection guidance cannot replace application testing. The Parker O-Ring Handbook explains that temperature capability depends on compound formulation, medium, geometry, stress and time; even one polymer family can have different limits.
Current motor standard
IEC 60034-1:2026, fifteenth edition, replaced IEC 60034-1:2022 in March 2026 and covers rating and performance of rotating electrical machines within its scope. A thermal class value is not automatically a measured housing-temperature alarm; machine rating, duty, coolant/ambient, rise/hotspot allowances and prescribed measurement method must be applied.

“Within supplied interval” is not “safe”. Check uncertainty/calibration, sensor attachment/emissivity, thermal gradients and lag, transients, alarm delays, simultaneous pressure/load/speed/media limits, trends, shutdown procedure and all OEM/standard requirements. Never infer an internal raceway or winding hotspot from a fixed generic housing offset.
