V≈k×(CD/100)^2.5×stages. k≈0.3 helical, 0.5 worm. Verify with manufacturer.

ISO VG 220-320. Worm: PAG or synthetic with EP additives.

Mineral: 2500-5000h. Synthetic: 5000-10000h. Monitor condition.

What is center distance?

Distance between input/output shaft centers. Primary sizing parameter.

Higher ratio=larger gears=more oil. Worm gears need extra for cooling.
