Can temperature, load and filter multipliers predict a universal oil-change interval?

No general multiplier set is used here. Oil life depends on the exact equipment, lubricant, duty, contamination, sampling, laboratory methods, trends and manufacturer limits.

Can oil analysis authorize continued use?

Only when the applicable OEM or controlled condition-monitoring program allows it and the authorized source evaluates representative test results against the correct limits and trends.

Does this worksheet interpret laboratory values?

No. It records an authorized continue/change disposition. It does not invent limits for viscosity, water, particles, acidity, additives or wear debris.

Are calendar and storage limits included?

Condition-based use requires authorization

Flender gearbox instructions 7300en (05/2024) allow oil-supplier examination and approval as an alternative to a fixed change interval, and require representative, repeatable sampling and retained results. That application-specific procedure is not a universal multiplier.

ASTM D6224-23 permits condition/test-result-based changes only within its specific scope: mineral oils and certain phosphate ester fluids in auxiliary power-plant equipment. It excludes general synthetic-lubricant coverage and turbine oils.

Removed model: temperature, contamination, load, base-oil group and filter multipliers had no verified universal source. Arrhenius approximations, beta ratings and synthetic-life claims cannot be multiplied into a defensible change date without equipment/fluid-specific validation.
