Transcribe one controlled rating
Use line-to-line RMS voltage,line RMS current,output power,power factor,frequency and speed that belong to the same connection and rating. Do not combine Δ/Y or dual-frequency rows.

Interpretation safeguards
- Never combine voltage from one Δ/Y row with current,power factor or efficiency from another row.
- IE1–IE5 are class limits inside a defined scope;they are not measured or guaranteed operating-point efficiency values. IEC60034-30-1:2025 replaced the2014 edition and introduced normative IE5 limits.
- Duty types S1–S10 require the full current definitions,cycle quantities and rating context. “S1” is not simply permission for unlimited operation under any ambient,load or cooling condition.
- An IP code states a tested enclosure protection classification inside its scope;it is not a corrosion,condensation,explosion,chemical or outdoor-suitability decision.
- A leading frame number may correspond to shaft height only when the declared dimensional system and exact designation make that mapping applicable.
- For distorted,unbalanced,converter-fed,multi-speed,synchronous,DC,generator or non-IEC machines,use the applicable model and standards instead of this worksheet.

The former page claimed to read any motor plate but always used a balanced three-phase formula,preselected a complete fictitious plate and accepted malformed or physically inconsistent values. It could display negative slip,efficiency above100%,NaN reactive power and unqualified “full-load” conclusions.
The former decoder echoed user-selected S/IP/IE/thermal labels as authoritative meanings,reproduced an outdated2014 IE table with an indicative IE5 value,and treated the leading digits of any frame string as shaft height. Those tables and automatic decoders were removed. The replacement requires exact evidence,checks only one explicit physical model,uses strict parsing and does not infer closed-standard content.
