VI compares the oil’s viscosity-temperature behavior to two reference oils: L (VI=0, naphthenic) and H (VI=100, paraffinic). Higher VI = less viscosity change with temperature.

💡 Optimal diapazon: Ko'pgina podshipniklar va tishli uzatmalar 13–100 cSt qiymatida eng yaxshi ishlaydi. 13 cSt dan past bo'lsa chegara yog'lash xavfi mavjud; 100 cSt dan yuqori bo'lsa ortiqcha moyli qarshilik yuzaga keladi.
