Traceability before interpretation
Ex Nameplate and Certificate Cross-Check
Create a complete review record linking the exact equipment marking to its certificate and the installation hazardous-area dossier. This page does not automatically decode, certify or approve zone suitability.
Traceability check
IEC 60079-0:2026, edition 8 is the current general-requirements standard for construction, testing and marking of Ex Equipment and Ex Components. It cancels and replaces IEC 60079-0:2017 and is a technical revision.
Protection-specific meaning and construction/testing requirements reside in the applicable parts. For example, IEC 60079-1:2014 covers flameproof enclosures “d”, while IEC 60079-11:2023 covers intrinsic safety “i” and includes corrigenda/interpretation sheets through the 2026 corrected version.
Rəsmi IECEx OD 011-2 uses complete marking strings in certificate data and shows that applicable protection parts travel with IEC 60079-0 and the EPL. The IECEx official guides also distinguish IECEx and ATEX procedures; a regex match cannot merge the schemes or replace certificate review.
Removed model: the former script selected the first token matching a short regex, ignored combined protection concepts/certificate suffixes and then declared zone suitability from partial text. Its tables did not identify editions and included mappings that may have changed across parts. Exact normative code tables therefore remain NEEDS_LICENSED_SOURCE; they were not reconstructed from memory.
