During the balancing of the Fecon forestry mulcher with the FAE attachment, our specialist recorded short videos of the rotor balancing process.

In this video, a portable balancing device, the ArBalance vibration analyzer, is used. The balancing process is similar to the process with the Balanset-1A device. The technical characteristics of the device are similar, and vibration sensors and a laser tachometer are suitable for both devices. If desired, the ArBalance can also be used as a measuring system for machines.

Its main difference is that the ArBalance is completely autonomous and does not require connection to an external power source or a laptop. The battery charge is sufficient for continuous operation for about 10-12 hours.

Additional features – vibration graphs, spectral analysis allow evaluating the technical condition of the mechanism and identifying the causes of defects.

The ArBalance device has two vibration measurement channels, which allows measurements to be taken in two planes simultaneously. This significantly increases the productivity of dynamic rotor balancing compared to single-channel devices.

The algorithm used in the devices for processing the vibration signal allows stable indications of the vibration amplitude and phase to be obtained against the background of significant vibration interference.
