Gyroscopes balancing

In 2010, our specialists upgraded the stand for gyroscopes rotors balancing at one of the plants in Russia.

In the process of modernization, the stand outdated measuring system was replaced by our device. As a result, it was possible to significantly reduce the residual imbalance of the balanced rotor and bring its level to 0.003 - 0.005 g*mm, which corresponded to the residual unbalanced weight of 0.2 - 0.3 mg.

It should be noted that our equipment allows to achieve significantly higher residual imbalance characteristics. Implementation processes resulted into some problems connected with the fact that the Customer’s existing technology for removing residual imbalanced weight from the rotor did not allow the weight with a resolution of less than 0.2 mg to be removed.

In this regard, it should also be noted the high economic efficiency of our device introduction at the customer’s stand, characterized by the fact that the stand upgrading total cost not to exceed 6 thousand euros.

The usual costs of upgrading such unique technological equipment exceed the specified at least by 3-5 times.
