何者決定相容性？

潤滑脂的相容性主要取決於 增稠劑類型，而非基礎油。當不相容的潤滑脂混合時，增稠劑結構可能會崩解，導致：

軟化（潤滑脂從軸承中流失）
硬化（潤滑脂無法流動，導致軸承缺油）
油液分離與滲油
承載能力降低

更換潤滑脂的最佳實務

相容的潤滑脂： 可直接混合。塗抹新潤滑脂，並透過正常的再潤滑循環將舊脂排出。
邊界潤滑脂： 盡量減少混合。在切換後的頭 3–5 個循環中，縮短再潤滑間隔。
不相容的潤滑脂： 切勿混合。完全拆解並清潔軸承，或使用新潤滑脂的基礎油清洗至乾淨，然後重新填充。

基礎油相容性

也請考慮基礎油的相容性。一般而言：

礦物油 + 礦物油： 相容
礦物油 + PAO（合成油）： 相容
礦物油 + 酯類： 通常相容（請檢查密封件相容性）
礦物油 + 矽油： 不相容
PAO + 酯類： 相容

⚠️ 重要： 此圖表顯示一般稠化劑的相容性。由於添加劑配方不同，特定潤滑脂配方可能與一般規則有所差異。如有疑問，請聯繫潤滑劑製造商以取得特定相容性測試資料（ASTM D6185）。

The most common result is that the mixed grease becomes either too soft (runs out of the bearing, causing starvation) or too hard (won't flow, causing overheating). Either way, the bearing is not properly lubricated and will fail prematurely.

Polyurea greases are generally only compatible with other polyurea greases. They are incompatible with most soap-based thickeners (lithium, calcium, sodium, etc.). This is important because polyurea is increasingly popular for "sealed-for-life" bearings.

Mineral + PAO (synthetic) is generally fine. Mineral + ester is usually OK. Mineral + silicone is NOT compatible. However, thickener compatibility is usually more critical than base oil compatibility.

Check the grease technical data sheet (TDS) or safety data sheet (SDS) from the manufacturer. The thickener type is always listed. Common identifiers: Lithium 12-hydroxystearate, Polyurea, Aluminum complex, etc.

NLGI grade (consistency) differences don't affect chemical compatibility. A NLGI 2 lithium grease is compatible with NLGI 3 lithium grease. However, the resulting consistency will be somewhere in between.
