Does this page calculate a relubrication interval?

No. It calculates only dm=(d+D)/2 and n×dm. Obtain the interval from the current chart or software of the exact bearing and grease manufacturer.

Why is bearing type not a single multiplier?

Manufacturer methods use bearing-family factors together with speed factor, load ratio, grease, temperature and application conditions. A universal type multiplier is not sufficient.

What else is needed for an interval?

Use the exact bearing designation, load or C/P, grease performance and temperature limits, operating temperature, shaft orientation, contamination, vibration, outer-ring rotation and manufacturer-specific instructions.

SKF’s current public guidance derives relubrication interval from a manufacturer diagram or calculator using bearing factor b_f × n × d_m, load ratio C/P and application conditions. Temperature, vertical shaft, vibration, outer-ring rotation, contamination, bearing size and some cage designs can require different treatment; contamination is not a universal numeric multiplier.
