OFTE STILLEDE SPØRGSMÅL
A practical guide for owners of the Balanset-1A portable balancer (Vibromera). Built from real technical-support experience — hundreds of conversations with users worldwide: mulchers, combines, fans, crushers, spindles, rotors up to 24 tonnes.
Where to start
01Vibration BasicsWhat vibration, spectrum, phase, resonance and G grades mean — in plain language.
02The Device & KitPackage contents, specs, sensors, tachometer, calibration coefficients, wiring.
03SoftwareInstall, update, old-version bugs vs. user-attention mistakes.
04Machine PreparationChecklists: bearings, cracks, welding the front flap, sensor placement, trial weight.
05Balancing Step by StepRun 0 → Run 1 → Run 2 → Trim, angle counting, the half-mass rule.
06Results & Tolerancesmm/s vs g·mm, ISO zones, what counts as a good job.
07Vibration Won’t Go DownThe diagnostic tree: spectrum reading, resonance, nonlinearity, real culprits.
08OmdrejningstællerSun glare, false marks, Tacho unevenness = 200, the 3D-printed shade.
09Almindelige fejl13 mistakes every one of which real users have actually made.
10OFTE STILLEDE SPØRGSMÅLQuick answers: RPM limits, rotor mass, laptops, subscriptions, cardan shafts.
11Casestudier13 real stories with photos — from a 24-tonne rotor to a single wrong checkbox.
12Support PlaybookVerbatim explanations from tech support, ready to reuse.

The five rules that matter most
- Mechanics first, balancing second. In ~90% of “it won’t balance” cases the culprit is a mechanical fault (bearing play, cracks, loose mounts) or resonance — not unbalance.
- Install half of the calculated mass. On mulchers and other “soft” machines the system is nonlinear: if the device calculated 600 g, weld on 300 g first and take a check run.
- The angle is measured from the trial-weight position, in the direction of rotor rotation. Not against rotation and not from an arbitrary point.
- Never move the tachometer mark between runs. Moved the mark — the whole measurement series is void, start over.
- Keep the RPM identical between runs (within ~100 rpm), and make sure vibrometer readings are stable. If amplitude and phase wander more than 20% / 20°, find the cause of instability first.
